XP ESPORTS AUSTRALIA 2022 YEAR IN REVIEW – PART ONE

What a year 2022 has been for the growth of the XP Esports Events Network as well as the development of grassroots esports in our region. We cannot fit everything into one article so here is part one of another amazing year of esports.

The XP Clubs Championships has been developed to look after the growing grassroots level, giving players and the public the best opportunities and platforms to compete and succeed, representing their local esports centre.

XP EKKA SHOWCASE 2022

The XP Ekka Esports Showcase in partnership with the RNA is Queensland’s biggest celebration of esports and gaming, spanning over 9 days at the RNA Showgrounds.

The event provides exciting competitive opportunities for High School, university and grassroots esports with various events and leagues as well as showcasing affiliated partners in exciting interactive zones.

XP Esports Australia will plan to expand on our 2022 offering with bigger and better production in partnership with the RNA as well as affiliated partners. Our team goal is to grow this annual event into Australia’s biggest celebration of esports in agriculture and education.

BRISBANE ROAR X XP ESPORTS

XP Esports Australia and The Brisbane Roar continued their fantastic partnership in 2022. XP Esports is the official pathway to the Roar’s E-League side, finding new talent in Queensland for FIFA esports.

Dylan Banks (AussieFifa HD) & Connor Stewart (Envy) were both selected once again for the 2022 E-League group stage.

HIGH SCHOOL LEAGUE 2022

What another exciting breakout year for the premier high school esports competition in Australia! A massive thankyou to all the competing schools in 2022, this competition would be nothing without your unwavering support.
