Rocket League Season 2 Recap

The XP HSL Rocket League Queensland competition continued to grow in popularity and size for season 2, adding some brand-new Queensland based schools to the League as well as vast improvements from Season One competing schools. Check out all the highs and lows from the season that was!

Marsden State High School on Top!

Marsden State High School are champions of Queensland for the first in in their short history in the XP High School League. The Brisbane south-side school had a dominant season, only dropping one match through the round robin Conference Series, going on to have a powerful Finals series against some tough teams. Can they go back to back in Season 3?

Oh, So Close!

After a fantastic run through the Finals Series, defeating both top seeded teams from St Edmunds College on the way to the Grand Final, Chisholm Maroon could not quite get it done in the big game! Going down 4 – 1 to a dominant Marsden SHS.

Can St Thomas More College (Black) bounce back next season?

St Thomas More College (Black) continued their good form from Season 1 however the “finals jitters” came back to haunt them as they got bundled out early in the Conference Semi Finals stage once again. Can this promising team go further in Season 3?

Fall from grace for St Thomas More Gold!

St Thomas More College (Gold) were Queensland’s inaugural champions for the XP High School League Season One, however the once powerhouse team could only accumulate 3 wins for the season to just miss out on fourth spot. Will they climb back up the mountain in Season 3?

Maryborough SHS slides down the ladder!

Maryborough SHS (1) had a season to forget, sliding down the ladder from third in season one to last place in season two, only notching a singular win for the regular season campaign. We must consider though that the players for this term were rather new and did show promise in various games. Can they bounce back for Season 3?
