The Young Farmers XP Esports Cup + Qualifiers 2022
An Esports tournament championing agriculture for the younger generations.
XP Esports Australia in partnership with the RNA are excited to announce the launch of The Young Farmers XP Esports Cup as well as official online qualifiers. Finalists will get a chance to play live on the mainstage at this year’s Ekka to battle for prizes and trophies.
After a very successful inaugural tournament in 2020, being the first ever official Australian tournament for the popular Esports game Farming Simulator, our team plans on expanding this tournament in 2022, laying the foundations for many years to come.

Dates:
- Qualifying: Saturday 16th July – CHANGED!
- 12PM – 5PM AEST
- Finals (Live at EKKA): 10th August
- 10AM – 5PM AEST
Event Details
- PC only.
- Tournament will be performed on Farming Simulator 19.
- 16 School Teams. 1 Team Per School.
- 8 Regional & 8 City Based High Schools.
- Regional are schools roughly 100KMs or further away from Brisbane.
- All schools will be handed competition game codes to compete through qualifying.
- Top 4 schools to be invited to The Ekka 2022 to play on our main stage.
- All qualified schools will be given competitor passes for Free Access to the RNA on the competition day. These will be arranged after the completion of qualifying. Please email Brodie.Fisher@xpesports.gg
- Teams may consist of 3x Core Players, up to 2x Sub Players & up to 2x Staff each.
- The event will be broadcasted live on our twitch channel.
Event Format
- Double Elimination Bracket
- Teams have to lose 2x matches to unfortunately be wiped out.
- Each match will be a Best of 3 In-Game Rounds which go for 15 minutes long.
- Top 4 Teams will earn a spot in the Finals (Wednesday)
Prizes
- Champion School Team Trophy.
- Runners Up School Team Trophy.
- Additional prizing TBC.
